          • Oliver began his Hotel Management career as a guest services agent with Toga Far East Hotels TFE in 2009. He soon progressed to be conference & Event Manager before taking up the position as Assistant Hotel Manager at Travel Lodge Hotel TFE Wellington in 2012. Oliver remains with TFE Hotel and is now Hotel Manager at Adina Apartment Hotel Chippendale in Sydney.

          • The education at PIHMS takes a very “hands on” approach, which gives the students an opportunity to experience everyday operations in a hotel. The education at PIHMS is highly recognized worldwide in the hospitality industry, which sets up students for their future careers. During the 3 years you learn certain nuances about the hospitality industry and hotel management, which differentiates PIHMS students from non-trained employees.
          • PIHMS for me was not only about education, but also about essential life skills, including social interactions, communications and attaining a certain level of professionalism. After PIHMS I have worked as a manager at one of the best restaurants in New Plymouth, New Zealand, and having formal training and education certainly gave me a competitive advantage in getting that job.
          • Although, I did not pursue a career in Hospitality, the skills and experience that I have gained at PIHMS have been very helpful in both my professional and personal lives.
